Features

USB adapter for 32-bit 3G CardBus cards distributed by mobile telephone operators (Movistar, Vodafone and Orange). Model U132 manufactured by Elan Digital Systems, Ltd.
It allows the use of 3G CardBus cards in computers that do not have a CardBus slot, especially in state-of-the-art laptops.
This adapter is specially designed for this type of card and not for other CardBus cards.
Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and 2003 Server operating systems.
The 3G card slot allows connection to both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports (requires 500mA).
If the USB port does not provide enough power, you will need an external 6 VDC power supply (not included, although in most cases it is not needed).
140 x 83 x 25mm slot size and 140g weight.
Supports Type I and Type II Cardbus cards and only for the provision of 3G (other added features of the card are not supported).
Compatibility Vodafone Mobile Connect Card. Novatel Merlin U730, U740, U870, 620, V620 and S620.
GlobeTrotter Fusion Card. Kyocera Passport 1xEVDO KPC650 card. Sierra Wireless AirCard 580. Huawei E600, E612 and E618.
Other manufacturers of 3G cards based on OHCI USB controllers similar to previous cards.
