The PXI_6515 is an industrial digital I/O interface with eight groups of isolated channels. It is possible to wire each group of input channels in either a sinking or a forced current configuration. With programmable start states, it is possible to configure the initial output states by software, to allow safe operations when connected to industrial actuators. In the event of a computer or application failure, the PXI_6515 can transition to a configurable and safe output state using digital I/O watchdog timers to detect and remedy the detected fault. Programmable input filters eliminate voltage spikes and provide debounce for digital relays and matrix switches.
